For BOINCSTATS, one of the project admins/devs need to communicate directly with Willy and give him permission to add the project to the stats there.

I will restart the project when the awarding of stats for completed tasks is fixed. (You know, the second task gets abandoned issue) That is not happening any more.

It's possible that something is not 'translating' properly in the emulator, especially if you have seen the same error in other projects.

(Message 257) Posted 5 Aug 2023 by Fardringle Post: Your computers are hidden so I can't look at them to give a better answer, but in my experience with other projects, that error message occurs when a computer has returned a very large number of invalid results so it is no longer trusted by the project and is not allowed to download multiple tasks to prevent it from returning even more invalid results and possibly compromising the overall results of the project. Once the computer starts returning valid results again, the restriction gets removed.

But so far, all of the tasks that are allowed to run have completed successfully. That's a pretty good start! I take that back, I am getting some errors now. Any tasks that are not completed in less than 24 hours after they are downloaded are invalidated with the error "Completed, too late to validate", even though the task return deadline is actually seven days and not just one day. If you are going to invalidate tasks after a single day, you need to change the deadline of the tasks to one day so the BOINC Manager doesn't download more tasks than can be completed in that day.
