With such a large memory footprint of ~1.2GB per task you have 14.4GB of your 16GB of memory tied up if all 12 threads are running. Doubt thats enough left for Win11 let alone anything else. The user needs to start any investigation by saying what else was running at that time.

I never said they write anything. But they sign up. Other BOINC projects get them as well, many more than here.

I wrote earlier: The server did not see them all and automatically reassigned them to recalculation. An example of one of my tasks The "Work Unit" (514295) in invalid on the first time it was sent out (Task 794202). Task 946796 was never sent. https://boinc.termit.me/adsl/workunit.php?wuid=514295 But the Work Unit never gets a 2nd task. Demis said it is reassigned somehow. But BOINC servers should be assign it as a 2nd task of the same Work Unit, not another work unit.

It's not just me. Making another task is not the same as reassigning it to another user.

If not executed by then, they will be cancelled and reissued by the server to new hosts. So, I assume you have to wait until at least the 4th unless cancelled by the admin before then. What's up with fzs600? These WUs don't run that long. When was the last WU returned from that user? If not in the last day, then they are either orphaned or queued up behind some other long running work. Are we actually waiting for the queue to drain to fix a problem? If no, let's reload some work and move on... Every task has a 2nd host already. Thats why we're waiting for the update to get each work unit to create 1 task instead of this race condition to see who can return it first for credit. The last ones I received were already _2 and _3.
