Despite the posts of Natalia about the project being to be stopped since the results were not correct, it's still running.

I see a lot of people still crunching.

What's the status today? Is the staff working on it again? Are the results ok?

Excellent question.
Are the results of our (volunteers') calculations scientifically accurate?
If so, please tell us.
If not, we need to be told and the project stopped.
Thank you for your time.

The results database contains many errors.
This was previously reported.
In addition, there is a large gap in the database; batch 87 has not been counted.
I asked Demis to count this batch several times, but he still hasn’t done it.
As a result, there is no continuity in the database, and the unique results obtained cannot be approved in the OEIS as meeting the minimum criterion
For example, a recently found result

9648166508472058129: 0 12 118 132 150 160 168 184 210 234 252 268 288 300 352 364 384 400 418 442 468 484 492 502 520 534 640 652

There are several million results in the database, it is unrealistic to check the correctness of all the results and correct them.
It is necessary to identify the cause of all incorrect results and eliminate it.
Without guaranteeing the correct operation of the software and all BOINC auxiliary modules, the work of the project is irrational.

The project is managed by individuals who are incompetent in the mathematical aspects of the project.
I don't have access to project management.
The administrator Corporal ignores all my requests.

I have algorithms and programs that give the right results.
One of these algorithms was tested in the BOINC project Gerasim@Home.
There were only correct results.
But I can't run these algorithms in the BOINC SPT project.

I'm still looking to start a new BOINC project.

If we can help in any way, let us know Natalia.

Let's make a list and see if somebody can help with, i don't know, a server, donations, coding or anything else.

Maybe we can do something. Let's just organize some plan.

If we can help in any way, let us know Natalia.

Thank you for your words of support!

To run a BOINC project you need

1. Server.
2. A person who can and wants to launch a BOINC project.
This person must have knowledge of the BOINC platform and the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.

I have ready-made working programs.
We can run several Applications because these are different algorithms and different programs.

I also have the complete software, how it worked in Gerasim@Home.
This will help you understand the triggering pattern for this algorithm.
My other algorithms are similar.

What kind of dedicated server do you need? How many cores, memory and space?

The major issue is a developer able to work with the BOINC infrastructure.

Where can you look for this guy? Let's find a volunteer or 2 and i'll be happy to fund the first months for the server.

Yes, I'm looking for developers.
There are two developers.

They are trying to make something for a universal BOINC project for everyone
Here's what one developer wrote

To fit better with the rest of my platform, I'd like to try repackaging this as a Docker container to be run through https://github.com/marius311/boinc2docker. The app would take the input file as a command line input and output to /root/shared/results in the container. Are you familiar with that project, or with Docker in general?

I don't understand what this is.
But I gave him all the data to launch my BOINC project, which worked in Gerasim@Home.

So far they haven't said anything.
I think they are trying to finalize their universal project.

Let's find a volunteer or 2 and i'll be happy to fund the first months for the server.

Thank you!

Let's ask everyone in this community, who can help us?

I did some research on Google and they suggest to ask to David (https://boinc.berkeley.edu/anderson/) or Vitalii (https://www.reddit.com/user/Antique-Bookkeeper56/). Maybe they can help suggesting where to find devs.

I have already gone through all this.
I searched a lot.
Look at here

https://boinc.progger.info/odlk/forum_thread.php?id=196&postid=13983
https://boinc.progger.info/odlk/forum_thread.php?id=196&postid=13984
https://boinc.progger.info/odlk/forum_thread.php?id=237&postid=13858

I corresponded with Vitaly.
I also contacted David.

Yes, David sent me the link first.
Here is his first letter

We recently developed some better/simpler documentation
about how to set up a BOINC project:
https://github.com/BOINC/boinc/wiki/Computing-with-boinc
However, it still requires a certain amount of technical skills and effort.
You can ask for help on the boinc_projects@ssl.berkeley.edu email list.

I wrote to the link provided, but did not receive any response.

Then I wrote again to David.
And I received this answer

Natalia:
You'll need to find people with access to a server,
and with the ability to create a BOINC project.

(I can't do this for you; I just develop the software).

-- David

I contacted the administrator at yoyo@home.
I contacted Prime Grid.

And everywhere there is only refusal!

Luca
You are asking me if I have anything to do with the BOINC projects ODLK and ODLK1.
https://boinc.progger.info/odlk/
https://boinc.multi-pool.info/latinsquares/

I am the author of these projects - in the scientific (mathematical) part..
Both of these projects have been work for six years.
But the administrators of these projects refused to launch my new projects.

For six years now I have been struggling to find the opportunity to launch this BOINC project.
Several sessions of distributed computing were carried out.
Look at the topic
https://boinc.progger.info/odlk/forum_thread.php?id=49

I've already lost hope.
The world is deaf to my problem!
I'm a mathematician and can't run a BOINC project.

Oh i see. Seems that we're short in volunteers with the needed time or knowledge.

That's sad but i understand it since we all are just volunteers.

It's not the best solution but it's the only one i see then. What about ask for funds from your university and then hire somebody?

The major issue is the setup of the project.

Here is my letter to the address that David indicated to me

http://boinc_projects@ssl.berkeley.edu

Hello!

I need help starting a BOINC project.
My algorithm was tested in the BOINC project Gerasim@Home.
Testing was successful.
I have full software.

I have a small remotely managed server.
You can try running a BOINC project on this server.

Waiting for your suggestions.

Best regards,
Natalia Makarova

I have not received a response to this letter.

Ask David why BOINC's help desk isn't working.

Luca
write to David and tell him that you are ready to provide a server.
Do they have volunteer developers?
David wrote to me that I should find a developer.
Where should I look for him???

If David answered already suggesting to find developers then that's what the project needs. Developers.

Where to find them is the problem if he can't point you in a precise direction.

Maybe paying them could fix the problem. What about asking for funds to the RUDN? Is that the university where you work?

Anyway i'll drop him a message in order to see if the situation today is different. Maybe somebody is free now.

I have been retired since 2005, I am 74 years old.
I do projects only on my PC.

Maybe paying them could fix the problem.

For money?
It's a good idea :)
But…
I have no money.
I have already identified my small savings by establishing a prize in the competition
https://primesmagicgames.altervista.org/wp/primes-k-tuple-2/?doing_wp_cron=1713860503.7574689388275146484375

This is a very small amount.

By the way, the competition has been extended for another three months.
At the moment, no one has presented solutions.
This shows how difficult the tasks in the competition are.
These problems are difficult to solve on one computer; hundreds of computers are required.

See the topic about the competition
https://boinc.progger.info/odlk/forum_thread.php?id=273

In addition, launching a BOINC project is not a one-time task that can be solved for a one-time fee.
The BOINC project requires constant work from the administrator.
In addition, server costs, domain costs.
There is no way I can pay for all this.

I need a volunteer developer.
I know there are very few enthusiasts in the world.
I'm one of them.
Everything I do for the tuples project, as well as for the ODLK and ODLK1 projects, I do for free.

The administrator of this project Corporal is my virtual colleague.
We have been cooperating for more than a year.
Corporal agreed to provide a server for this project.
He covered all the costs of maintaining the server.

Many thanks to him for this!

But the project was launched by an inexperienced person - Demis.
Everything went wrong.
The project produces many incorrect results.
The reason for this must be sought and eliminated.
Otherwise the project is useless.
